The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has established a free service of TESDA online courses which gives high school graduates, college undergrads, unemployed, and yes, even Overseas Filipino Workers, the chance to take up different kinds of courses online that can help you acquire more knowledge and improve your skill set. Highlighting that it is a free course, no tuition fee needed.

The E-Learning Program offers a wide variation of courses that OFWs and aspiring OFWs can take.

What available courses can I take?

Information Technology and Game Development

What is the eligibility to be able to enroll for TESDA’s online program?

  • Must be of 18 years of age
  • High school graduate

What do I need to enroll for TESDA’s online program

You will only need a stable internet connection and of course a good computer you can use for taking the course. You can opt to bring a pen and a paper if you would like to take down notes.

How do I enroll for TESDA’s online program?

Enrolling in these online courses is simple and easy. Just read the steps below to get you started.

  1. Follow this link ( in order to go to the TESDA online program. You will find the login link at the uppermost right side of the website. Click on it.
  2. From here on, you can start creating your account. Fill out all the required information in the form. *Make sure to put in a valid email for an activation email will be sent to you.

After that, click on create an account. You will be sent an email to the email address you have placed on the form which will then activate your account.

  1. Now you have your own TESDA account. You will now be able to enroll in a course of your choice. Login using your account and from here you will redirected to the page where the list of courses are.
  2. Choose which course you’d like to take. And each course is divided into different modules, so choose which module you want to learn.
  3. Click on the Enroll me in this course button found at the lower left of the page.
  4. Click on the Yes button to confirm and formalize your enrollment.

Now, you are officially enrolled to an online course!


Remember that the advantage of having this online course is that you may take it at your own pace. There is no need to rush it.

How long does one course usually take?”

It depends. Some can be finished within a couple of days while some can last even months. And it also depends on how your pacing will be in taking the course.

I want a certificate, how do I get one?

Unfortunately, since this is an online course, you will not be able to get a training certificate after you have completed the course.

BUT, if you do want to receive the National Certificate, you will need to have a face-to-face assessment to be done by the respective TESDA center. And of course, you will have to pass this assessment in order to earn the National Certificate.

Can I put this on my resume?

Yes, of course you can! TESDA is a government agency that provides accredited courses that can be put on your resume.
